You get it on day one. Every new Claude model is available through AWS Bedrock the same day Anthropic releases it, with no upgrade project on your side. Moterra tests the model against your existing setup and MCP plugins, then makes it available in your workspace once validated. Older models remain accessible for at least 12 months to avoid breaking any existing workflows or automations.

Any AWS region where Claude on Bedrock is available. For UK and EU customers we typically recommend London (eu-west-2) and Frankfurt (eu-central-1) or Ireland (eu-west-1), all with full Claude model availability and in-region data residency. You choose the region based on your compliance, latency, and data sovereignty requirements. UK customers can host in the EU, EU customers in the UK, or anywhere else that fits your policy.

Yes. Users get the full Claude Cowork product: files, artifacts, code execution, web search, skills, and multi-step task automation. The only difference is that everything runs inside your AWS account instead of Anthropic’s. Same interface, same capabilities, same day-one access to new features.

The architecture is designed for it. All data stays inside your own AWS VPC in the region you choose, and Moterra acts strictly as a data processor under a DPA that meets UK GDPR, DPA 2018, and EU GDPR requirements. For DORA, the deployment supports the operational resilience, exit-plan, and audit-trail obligations financial entities must demonstrate to regulators. AWS Bedrock itself is SOC 2 Type II certified, HIPAA compliant, and supports customer-managed KMS keys.

No. There are no per-seat Claude licences to purchase. You pay AWS Bedrock only for actual model usage (pay-per-token), plus Moterra’s one-time setup fee and monthly managed service fee covering MDM, plugin operation, updates, and support. This is a fundamentally different cost model from Claude Team or Claude Enterprise: cost scales with actual usage, not with a fixed number of seats.

Your choice. Option 1: pay AWS directly (or through your existing AWS reseller) for Bedrock usage, and Moterra separately for the managed service. Option 2: put everything on a single Moterra invoice, since Moterra is an authorised AWS reseller and can consolidate Bedrock usage and the managed service into one bill. Procurement through AWS Marketplace is also available if you want the spend to count against your existing AWS commitments.

Every deployment includes Standard Support: email support with next business day response, covered by the monthly managed service fee. For teams that need more, Priority Support adds 4-hour response times, Slack or Teams channels, monthly consulting hours, and a recurring AI strategy review, recommended for 30+ users. Enterprise Support offers custom SLAs, a dedicated Technical Account Manager, and multi-region coverage for larger deployments.
