Will your AI expose our confidential data?
Never. Moterra runs entirely in your own AWS environment, and data never leaves your control. Unlike public AI tools, your files aren’t used to train external models and remain fully private and compliant.
All AI processing happens within your private AWS environment using enterprise-grade security. This includes AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, and customer-managed encryption keys that you control.
We maintain SOC 2 Type II certification, ISO 27001 compliance, and GDPR alignment. All data is accessed only through private endpoints via AWS PrivateLink. This means your sensitive business information never traverses public networks or shared infrastructure.
Unlike ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or other public AI platforms where your data may be used for model training or improvement, Moterra guarantees complete data sovereignty. We provide comprehensive audit logging so your information stays under your complete control.

What technologies are behind Moterra’s solution?
Moterra uses generative AI with large language models (Anthropic Claude via Amazon Bedrock). Answers are grounded by retrieval over your documents (RAG), applying NLP across structured and unstructured data. On AWS it runs in your VPC with PrivateLink and customer-managed KMS keys. Models are reached via private endpoints and never train on your data.
Can we purchase Moterra platform or services through our existing AWS account?
Yes, if you’re already an AWS customer, you can purchase Moterra directly through the AWS Marketplace, bypassing traditional procurement processes. Your Moterra fees will be included in your existing AWS billing, making it simple to get started without separate vendor agreements.
